Happy Thanksgiving!

Friends and family, a roof over our heads, food on the table – what a lot we have to be thankful for. The natural beauty of the Mendocino Coast, and all the cultural opportunities we have here – in particular our very own Symphony of the Redwoods.

If you came to the first concert of the season November 15/16th, I’m sure you’re already looking forward to the next concert weekend – January 31/February 1, 2015. We want to fill our wonderful Cotton Auditorium, so if you loved the first concert, please invite a friend or neighbor to the next one. There must be many people out there who’ve never been to a live symphony concert. They might only be waiting for a bit of encouragement!

And don’t forget, the Christmas Holiday Musical Review is on Saturday December 20th. Music starts at 7pm, and there is a Crafts Fair going on all day for your last minute special Christmas gifts and treats.

  1. The Christmas Musical Review sounds like a very delightful concert, for all ages. Last year the crafts and artists were of such high quality. I heard Santa Claus may even be there, too. Is that true? Either way, can’t wait! Thank you to everyone who works very hard to put this holiday show together.

  2. Yes – it looks like being a wonderful day at the Holiday Revue on Dec 20th. All day craft fair, perfect for last minute gifts. Free photo with Santa, and wonderful fun concert in the evening with some of the best festive holiday music from many different traditions.
